Interior Design

"To see far is one thing: going there is another." -Brancusi

Don't worry if you are not looking for a complete makeover. My unique approach to the interior design process includes 2 features: I have broken down the creative and technical processes into 7 basic categories and I offer these at flat rates.  This allows the client to know exactly which portion of their budget they will be spending on the design process. And for those not needing a total room makeover, you can purchase my services a la carte: only paying for what you need/want.  Available services are listed below.

All projects begin with an in-home consultation.  During your consultation, I will take measurements and photos.  Within 7-10 business days

I will present you with a digital presentation visualizing my creative direction for your home and/or office. Consultations are $200.

Pricing for each individual service is based on size of project or space.

Space Planning

Floor plans.  It's that simple.  Part of my job as an interior designer is to help you make the most of your space and create a positive traffic flow.

Furniture Selection & Floor Plans

Traditional. Modern/Contemporary. Transitional. Just to name a few of the many, many styles that exist today and throughout history. I will help you determine which one, or combination,  is the perfect choice to tell your story.

Lighting Selection

Warm or cool? Lighting can make or break a presentation. Lighting is an essential element to a successful space.  One of the aspects of this element is that how a room appears during the day can be different than how it appears at night.

Art & Accessories Selection

Wrap it up! Art and accessories is punctuation. A period or an exclamation mark, but never a question mark. Accessories and art should also never over power a space: if you remove a piece, will the room be just as impactful? They continue the story.

Window Treatment Selection

To me, window treatments are like another form of artwork to add to the walls.  Window treatments are a great way to add more depth, warmth, texture, color and/or pattern to a room.

Flooring Selection

Flooring is literally the ground that the presentation stands on. Like art and accessories, the purpose of flooring is to support the story you want to tell.

 Paint, Wallpaper, Wall Treatment Selection

This is probably one of the more difficult decisions to be made. Although not permanent, we tend to instinctually think permanency: Once this is done, there's no going back. The challenge with paint is how it reacts to different light sources: natural light (both indirect and direct sun), warm or cool, ambient, spot or general...the list goes on. Colors can take on subtle to quite different personalities.

Total Room Makeover

Finishing Touches

This is the final stage. This is when I assist with

placement of accessories, wall art, rugs,

furniture, books...the list goes on and the after

photos are taken. This stage is free!

What my clients are saying

"Jason was as professional as he was proficient. It was very clear he has a clear grasp of

current trend, and made suggestions that were as appropriate, as they were beautiful."
